Biographical Information

As stated in the Sunday Times, Brenchley Parish is one of the best places to live in the UK and, as a Parish Councillor, I want to ensure that it stays that way.

My personal history includes having lived here for 26 years with my wife Fay and our twin daughters. Although the girls live away from the village now, they still love the lifestyle and enjoy their very regular visits.

I was elected onto the Council in 2004 and really enjoy the experience of being involved with the management of the Parish. As well as holding a number of posts on the Council I am also responsible for Brenchley Charities which helps the less fortunate in our Parish.

Although now retired, I was the Chairman of an Advertising and Marketing Group and I have been pleased to bring the benefit of this experience to the Parish Council.

For 6 years I was Chairman of the Brenchley Club, Commodore of a Sailing Club and 4 years ago I started a new Charity to teach disabled people to sail.
