Biographical Information

I moved from London to Matfield in 2006. We came to this area, in particular, because my wife’s family used to live in Horsmonden. Villages can offer a sense of community which has often been lost in larger towns but village and country life is under threat by a loss of facilities and businesses and by inappropriate change. I believe that the Parish Council can help to keep the villages as good places to live. I am also webmaster of this parish website and hope that, by attracting visitors and providing information for local residents, the site will also help to promote a flourishing community in and around our two villages.
