The area around our villages is criss-crossed by public footpaths which will take you on beautiful country walks through farmland, orchards and woodland.
All public footpaths in the area are shown on the large-scale Ordnance Survey Explorer Map 136 (obtainable from book shops). You can see an online version of that map here. Footpaths are shown as dotted red lines. The dotted lines with red diamonds on them indicate the local sections of the High Weald Landscape Trail (click here for more information). Please respect the Countryside Code on your walks around the parish.
Two local residents have compiled five circular walks which start and finish at the centre of one or other of the villages. Previews of these walks are shown below. Detailed instructions for each walk can be viewed by clicking on Local walks .
