Brenchley Pre-School

For over forty years there has been a pre-school establishment in Brenchley. It was in 1964 that Brenchley Pre-School was formed. The Pre-School has charitable status and relies totally on income from fees and fund-raising. The Committee that runs the Pre-School is made up from parents, and is always keenly looking for new recruits! The Committee regularly arranges a wide range of fund-raising events, usually to work towards a specific end goal. For example, the new computer equipment.

The emphasis in the Pre-School is on active learning through play, allowing the children to develop and reach their potential by working at their own level and pace. Our aim is to create an atmosphere in which the children are encouraged to be self-motivated, curious and confident in themselves and their work and to take pride in their achievements. The Pre-School is designed to provide a happy, purposeful introduction to school life.
