Roundabout is a monthly magazine covering “news, views and information” about people and events in the villages of Brenchley and Matfield. It was started in 1975 by David Bowerman and has enjoyed an unbroken print history produced by a succession of dedicated volunteers. The current team took over at the beginning of 2005 and now comprises six volunteers who handle all aspects of the magazine bar the printing
A further dedicated band of volunteers distribute the magazine to nearly 600 households in the two villages on the Friday closest to the beginning of the month whilst copies are also available from the local post offices and shops.
Since February 2015, the magazine has been available free of charge. In February 2019 an online flip-book version of the magazine was launched, which will be available to subscribers as an emailed link each month.
The magazine carries advertising in colour or black and white in sizes from 1/8th to a full page. For a schedule of rates, email the address below.
